"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." - Marilyn Monroe
How are you doing? If you're feeling a little overwhelmed, you're probably not alone. It seems like this is the busiest time of year - school is in full swing, the holiday season is quickly approaching. There's a lot going on. Sometimes, we fill up our plates really full - school, friends, family, activities, etc. Maybe more full than we can handle. Other times, maybe just one big project or issue on on your brain. When you try to handle your worries all at once, it can seem a little overwhelming. Instead of seeing the big picture, you'll just feel confused. Frazzled. Where can you even begin?
I keep hearing that Jordin Sparks song on the radio: "We live and we learn to take one step at a time, there's no need to rush." And it's so right. Just breaking down a problem into little steps - whether it's a big paper or a personal goal. You can't do it all at once, but you also shouldn't do nothing at all because you're scared to begin. Even if you can only take one little baby step. Because then you can take another. And another. Before you know it, you've walked the whole mile.
